Paint your cube

Start with green facing you and white on top. Enter each face exactly as you see it.

Drag to turn
Tap a sticker to paint it

1. Choose a sticker colour

2. Turn the cube and tap a square

Front face: Hold green in front and white on top.

The centre stickers are locked because they never move—they tell you which side you’re looking at.

This version calculates a short, reliable solution and explains every turn. The beginner course below teaches the classic layer-by-layer method.

Beginner path

Seven small wins. One solved cube.

The beginner method solves one layer at a time. Take it slowly—accuracy beats speed while your hands learn the patterns.

A note from your coach

The centre pieces never change places. They are your map whenever you feel lost.

Move notation

Cube moves are a tiny language.

Each letter names the face to turn. No symbol means clockwise, an apostrophe means anticlockwise, and 2 means turn twice.

Remember: clockwise is always judged while looking straight at the face you are turning.
R

Right face

Quarter turn clockwise

U′

Top face

Quarter turn anticlockwise

F2

Front face

Half turn (either way)
